Hello Timberwolf Family!

Your "pup" will take the Math & Reading MAP Growth assessments during the week of September 1st-4th. MAP Growth is administered three times per year, in the fall, winter, and spring. As students answer correctly, questions get harder. If students answer incorrectly, the questions get easier. By the end of the test, students will have answered enough questions to inform a teacher about what they know and what they’re ready to learn. MAP Growth assesses math, reading, and science (5th Grade only) MAP Growth takes less than an hour to complete, but is not timed. Students will not know how to answer every question and may see above grade level questions. The score students receive is called a RIT score. Students and parents will be able to see their RIT score progress from test to test, and year to year.
