Library Information & Book Checkout Policy

Check Out Procedures:  Students may check out 2 books, and they are due 3 weeks from the checkout date.

Fines:  Fines are charged for late books at the rate of 10 cents each school day each book is late.  There is one day of grace with no fines.  When a student owes .50 cents in fines, he/she may not check out a book until the book is returned and the fine is cleared.

Lost Books:  Lost books must be paid for using the current replacement cost of the book(s).

Rules:  Students come to the library with their Language Arts class.  They come with other classroom teachers for research and/or additional presentations.  Students may come to the library at additional times with permission from a teacher.
